Focus Areas
Educational Advancement
We focus on programs to create a wholistic environment for the education of students at the primary and pre-primary level, to advance their learning capacity, through their involvement in character development and learning enhancement activities, capacity building of parents and teachers, and improvements in the school facilities and infrastructure.
Parenting
Empowering parents to actively enhance their parenting skills and employability, fostering an environment that nurtures their child’s learning potential and overall well-being, and harnessing effective parenting as a source of nurturing resilient youth.
Youth Resiliency
We provide growth opportunities for students, to build their resiliency through targeted mentorship and support programs.

Our Projects
Painting of Classrooms
Captured in a moment of service, Kayla Stewart (left) and Rochelle Johnson don their painting gear, ready to transform the classrooms of St. Jude’s Primary School. They represent the over 100 enthusiastic volunteers from Transformed Life Church who joined forces with 180 Degree Foundation to repaint the classrooms at St. Jude’s Primary School, in November 2023.
Parenting Seminars
The 180 Degree Foundation team on April 6, 2024, conducted a parenting session at Tarrant Primary School during a health fair hosted by UWI Faculty of Medical Science, Interprofessional Outreach Committee, and Kiwanis Club. The parents were challenged with questions such as: Why is it so difficult being a parent? and How have your own experiences affected how you treat/parent your children? They were also encouraged to see the future they wanted for their children and given strategies for investing in that vision. At the end, the parents shared how impactful the session was for them and that this type of conversation was needed in their communities.
Personal Development Program
On Thursday, May 18, 2023, the 180 Degree Foundation hosted Grade 6 students from St. Jude’s Primary for a Personal Development Motivational Workshop. The event included a motivational talk, themed “From Gunman to Good Man”, exposure to social and dining room etiquette, entertainment, and of course lots of fun and games for the children.
